Spring Baking Championship

Ten bakers celebrate the fruits of the season by making tie-dye mini cheesecakes. In the main heat, they must produce colour gradients in their naked ombre cakes.

The nine remaining bakers must create cupcake flower arrangements with flower essences. Plus, they make and decorate mirror-glazed gazing balls in edible gardens.

The eight bakers work in teams to create springtime mini pies perfect for an outdoor gathering. And, they make desserts using three items from a picnic basket.

The seven bakers take on springtime eclairs. Host Ali Khan asks them to create edible goodie baskets filled with baked treats, including a hard-boiled egg.

The six bakers have to create tiny desserts using berries. Then, it's an explosion of colour as the bakers take on spring-patterned roll cakes.

The five bakers must use only agave as the sweetener in an assigned dessert - a tart, flourless cake, an ice-cream sandwich, cupcake, or a doughnut.

The four bakers must pair avocado with chocolate, lime, orange or ginger in a dessert. Then, they have to make a light version of a traditional winter dessert like a cake or a pie.

The three remaining bakers must use ugly ingredients to make the most beautiful dessert in the pre-heat. The main heat is all about hidden beauty, as the bakers must prepare vibrant and colourful geode cakes, using handmade rock candy to win.
